Inside Sales Representative

JOB TYPE : FULL TIME

Intempt is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. You will work closely with our Product Manager, and the entire team, to create strategies to sell into our existing merchant user base, as well as prospective new trial users for the Intempt platform.

You will spend the majority of your time reaching out to a high volume of new trial users from different backgrounds and experiences, via phone/email, educating them on e-commerce best practices, demoing the Intempt platform, and closing sales.

Our free trial model will provide you with warm leads because prospects often try our product and see short-term value in one part of it before making a larger investment with us with additional products. Your goal will be to connect with qualified accounts from this pool as quickly as possible to book meetings for yourself, then on these demos you will do preliminary education and evaluation before converting them from a free trial to a paying customer.

Responsibilities

  • High volume of calls/emails to free trial users assigned to you to book meetings for yourself
  • Run a discovery process to learn about prospect’s business and why they used Intempt, conduct screenshare demos of Intempt's platform to educate them on how they’ll be able to achieve their goals, then convert them from a free trial to a paying customer
  • Hustle to meet and exceed monthly quota
  • Manage your time across sales and customer relationship management (CRM) tools to track daily activities (calls, e-mails, demos booked, demos held, etc
  • Present Intempt's platform in a compelling, positive, and professional way

Requirements

  • A track record of high achievement and self-motivation in a lead generation role (BDR/SDR)
  • Ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with our merchants from all walks of life
  • Coachable and adaptable to new ideas, challenges and changes as our company grows
  • A track record of high achievement and self-motivation
  • The ability to act as a consultant and get prospects to think differently about their business. Naturally curious and passionate
  • Technical aptitude to master our sales tools and product
  • The ability to deal with and thrive on objections and rejection on a daily basis
  • Experience selling or buying CDP/marketing technology a huge plus
